Do I need to book tickets for the Uffizi and the Accademia?+
You should always book online in advance, because both have very long queues, especially in summer. Booking ahead lets you skip the line and saves several hours.
How many days do you need in Florence?+
Two to three days is just right. Day one for the Duomo and the Uffizi, day two for the David and Ponte Vecchio, and if you have a third day, a trip into the Tuscan countryside to taste Chianti wine is recommended.
Is climbing the Duomo dome tiring?+
You climb 463 steps with no lift, and it's fairly narrow and tiring, but the view at the top is well worth it. You must book a timed slot in advance and wear comfortable walking shoes.
