Where to stay in Mykonos — pick the right hotel, book in 3 clicks
Mykonos is the Cyclades' chicest island — whitewashed, blue-shuttered houses tangled through the alleys of Chora, the famous Little Venice waterfront where you sip wine as the sun drops behind the Kato Mili windmills, and a string of white-sand beaches like Paradise and Psarou backed by world-class beach clubs. It's small enough to circle by bus or ATV in a day, yet packed with nightlife, glamour, and history.

Where should I stay in Mykonos?+
First-timers should pick Mykonos Town (Chora) for walkable access to the windmills, Little Venice, restaurants and nightlife. For a quieter, family-friendly beach base choose Ornos or Platis Gialos, and for luxury head to Psarou.
When is the best time to visit Mykonos?+
Peak season is June–September with great weather and lively beaches, but bigger crowds and higher prices. May and October are quieter and cheaper with most clubs and restaurants still open; many venues close in winter.
Is it easy to get around Mykonos?+
Yes — it's a small island. KTEL buses link town and the beaches cheaply (€1–3), or rent an ATV or scooter for freedom. Taxis are limited, so book ahead during peak season.
