Our #2 pick is S Sriracha Hotel & Residence, a 4-star, 185-room property on Soi Sukhumvit 2, about 10 minutes from the centre of Sriracha and close to Central Sriracha. The Route Sriracha is the quiet design pick on this list — a 35-room boutique hotel on the south side of town near Laem Chabang, scoring 8.8/10. There is no shared onsen here, but every bathroom has a deep Hinoki-buro soaking tub, 60 cm deep with a separate wash-down shower and hot water up to 45°C — close enough to a private onsen that you won't miss the communal baths. Rooms run 24-28 sqm in pine wood, beige walls and off-white linen, MUJI-plain with washi paper lamps and a small balcony over a raked rock garden. The owner is a Thai designer who studied architecture in Japan, and it shows in the details. No kids club, no big pool, no tour groups — just a library of Japanese art books and free drip coffee in the lobby. Rooms start at $34 a night.
