Cape Verde — find the right stay, from deciding to booking
“White-sand Sal, the morna music of Mindelo, the Fogo volcano and Creole culture in the Atlantic”
Cape Verde is a volcanic archipelago in the Atlantic that blends white sand, green valleys and the soul of Creole music — the islands of Sal and Boa Vista draw visitors with fine white-sand beaches, all-inclusive resorts, kitesurfing and nesting sea turtles; Mindelo on São Vicente is a city of music where the carnival is fiery and the morna of Cesária Évora still echoes; the Fogo volcano stands amid its plume of smoke; and Santo Antão hides green valleys for hikers. Touring this archipelago means island-hopping by air, but every island rewards you with an atmosphere you can't find anywhere else.
