Hotel-Boutique Il Buongustaio (Casa ILB) is a tiny boutique of just 5 rooms tucked inside a restored old house in Colonia San Benito, the embassy-and-chic-cafe district widely rated the safest in San Salvador. What makes it special is that both the hotel and the Italian restaurant Il Bongustaio have run for 17 years and become a city institution. Guests wake up, walk down the stairs, and a plate of handmade trattoria-style pasta is waiting. Frommer's, the global travel guide, named it the city's Most Amazing Boutique Experience. The whole feel is closer to staying at a kind Italian friend's house than at a chain hotel. Rooms are done in warm tones with wood furniture and soft curtains, and a central garden with big trees gives you somewhere to sip morning coffee. Preguntas frecuentes

Usa Uber, no taxis callejeros.
