How many days should you spend in Ningbo?
For the main sights in the city centre — Tianyi Pavilion, Moon Lake, Old Bund and Sanjiangkou — one full day is enough to cover them. But if you also want to visit Tiantong Temple, Dongqian Lake and Xiangshan Fishing Village, plan 2–3 days so you don't have to rush.
When is the best time to visit Ningbo?
Autumn (September–November) is best — cool, comfortable weather, beautiful scenery, and it's also the time of the Xiangshan fishing festival. Spring (March–May) is also very good. Summer (July–August) can be hot and rainy.
