Things to know before booking

The dorms share bathrooms, and the lack of bunk privacy curtains is the most common gripe — light sleepers should weigh that or pay up for a private room. The communal kitchen can run short on pots and utensils at peak times, so bring what you can't do without if you intend to cook a lot. Private rooms sell out fast from December to February, and the free parking is limited, so reserve both well ahead.
