On site there's an outdoor pool on an upper floor, a full-service spa, a sauna and a gym that stays open late. The location is the real edge here — it's only about 0.6 km, or roughly 8 minutes on foot, to Han Market, and 10–15 minutes to the Dragon Bridge and the Son Tra night market. You can walk back after the Saturday-night fire-breathing show without bothering to call a Grab. Things to know before booking

Sanouva isn't on the beach, so getting to My Khe means about a 3 km ride rather than a walk out the door. It sits inside the Old Town, where the streets are fairly narrow and larger vehicles struggle to reach the entrance. And because it's boutique-scale, some of the room types aren't especially roomy — worth checking the category before you book if space matters to you.

Set it against the Vanda Hotel over by the Dragon Bridge: Vanda leans modern, rising 19 floors with free bicycles, while Sanouva leans warm and boutique with a stack of freebies. Plenty of couples in the reviews say the place looks after them "like a special guest" — and mean it.
