If the trip in your head is staying in safe, walkable San Pedro, strolling out to eat and shop at Fashion Drive, coming back for the spa, sleeping in soft beds in a quiet room, then slipping out to cheer at Estadio BBVA now and then, this fits about as neatly as it gets — especially for couples and luxury travelers who value the quality of the stay and a great neighborhood over the distance to the stadium. But if the heart of your trip is sleeping as close to the stadium as possible on foot, or you are watching the budget so you can pour it into match tickets and other activities, the highest price on the list and the 20–25 minute drive or Uber to the ground may not be the neatest answer.
