Nearby are pretty beaches like Sunny Isles Beach and the upscale Bal Harbour, a short drive if you want to swim or stroll the shore. For a big game or event, with Hard Rock Stadium hosting a big game or event, staying here means a roughly 6.9-mile, 15-minute drive to the ground, then an easy return to the resort after the game. Downtown Miami or Miami Beach is a short drive south. On site, several restaurants round things out — the highlight being BOURBON STEAK from James Beard winner chef Michael Mina, serving top-grade steak, plus easygoing spots like CORSAIR by the golf course and outlets in the waterpark. Things to know before booking

First, the location and distance to the stadium: even though Aventura is well placed for sightseeing, getting to Hard Rock Stadium means a roughly 6.9-mile, 15-minute drive — farther than the Miramar options that reach the ground in just a few minutes. If being as close as possible to the stadium is the heart of your trip, this isn't the shortest pick. Second, getting around: the area has no train station nearby, and the resort is so large that almost everything relies on a private car or ride-hailing, so factor in transport costs if you're not renting a car. The location reaches everywhere too, a few minutes to Aventura Mall, Sunny Isles Beach and Bal Harbour, with Hard Rock Stadium about 15 minutes off.
