The heart of a stay here is the rooftop on the top floor, with a compact indoor pool overlooking the Kyiv skyline, a fitness room and a sauna. B-Hush Bar is the highlight every review agrees on — a half-open-air cocktail bar wrapped in glass that opens up panoramic views of Sofia Cathedral, St Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery and the long roofline of the old town. At sunset it's one of the best spots in Kyiv for a cocktail, and before the war locals would come up to talk business and shoot wedding photos. On the food side, Comme Il Faut serves contemporary European plates and a full breakfast buffet with fresh pastries, cheese, eggs to order and a fresh-juice corner, while Olivera leans Mediterranean in a relaxed setting. Down in the basement is the I-SPA, with several quiet treatment rooms that many reviews praise for clean, relaxing massages. Location and getting there

A little further on are Maidan Nezalezhnosti square, the heart of Kyiv, and the main shopping street Khreshchatyk, lined with restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. The Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station (M1 line) is about a 7-minute walk, and from there the metro carries you out to the riverside Podil district along the Dnipro and to the left bank. From Boryspil international airport it's a 40-to-50-minute drive, while the in-city Zhuliany airport is much closer. If your plan is to soak up Kyiv's history and Orthodox architecture on foot all day, this location is the answer.

But the one thing to stress most is that the hotel has been suspended since February 2022; before planning anything, check the status with IHG directly and review Ukraine travel advisories.
