In-Depth Review
Rooms and decor
Reviewers describe a 22 sq m standard on the 18th floor, and the whole point is the 2.5-metre window that runs floor to ceiling. It hands you a 180-degree sweep of Bangkok, straight at MBK and CentralWorld, with the King Power Mahanakhon spire off in the distance. The Queen bed uses a soft Sealy mattress with crisp white linen, and the walls carry blue-orange sky photography that ties into the view. The desk is small but usable, and the glass-walled bathroom has a rain shower with genuinely good pressure and IHG-brand toiletries.
Food and amenities
The free Express Start buffet breakfast is included and covers eggs cooked to order, bacon, fruit and rice porridge. In the room, a Lavazza machine pulls a strong espresso, and the Wi-Fi is fast and stable enough to work remotely all day. Facilities are otherwise basic for the category, a small fitness room and 24-hour service, with no pool or full restaurant. The guest favourite is not an amenity at all: the roughly 6 pm sunset that washes the whole room orange-red, which beats paying 800 baht for a Sky Bar drink several times over.
Location and getting there
The hotel sits right beside BTS National Stadium, with a covered Skywalk straight to MBK in 5 minutes. Siam Discovery, Siam Center and Siam Paragon run on from there over the next 700 metres. The sharper move is Bantadthong, one of Bangkok's best street-food strips, one BTS stop away: fried fish cakes, kuay jub noodle soup and Bantadthong roast duck, then a 5-minute motorbike taxi back. The 6th-floor lobby runs a fast Express check-in under black-and-gold decor.
Things to know before booking
Rooms are a compact 22 sq m because the tower is built tall and narrow, so this is a view-first stay rather than a spread-out one. Facilities stay basic: no pool, no spa, no full restaurant. High-floor view rooms fill up fast in high season, so book a few weeks ahead and request a high floor at the same time, since a low floor loses most of what you came for. Getting to Suvarnabhumi Airport takes around 45 minutes by Airport Rail Link plus a BTS connection.
Our take
This is the best deal in Siam if a city view and clean design are what you are after. Rooms start near $63 a night, real guests score it around 8.7, and the view alone pulls a 9.0. We would steer couples aged 25 to 40, photographers and remote workers here first, the kind of guest who treats the room as both bedroom and office and wants the window to earn its keep without straining the budget.

- Tall, slender building means even standard rooms sit high up, looking straight at MBK, CentralWorld and the King Power Mahanakhon spire.
- Every room has a 2.5-metre floor-to-ceiling window giving a 180-degree panoramic view of Bangkok, best enjoyed at the roughly 6 pm sunset.
- Rooms are styled in dark tones with bright pops of colour and blue-orange sky photography, and a Lavazza machine pulls a solid in-room espresso.
- Right beside BTS National Stadium with a covered Skywalk straight to MBK in 5 minutes, and Bantadthong street food one stop away.
- Rooms are a compact 22 sq m because of the tall, slim footprint, so couples who like to spread out should expect to make use of the view instead of the floor space.
- Facilities are basic for the category: a free Express Start breakfast and a small fitness room, but no pool, spa or full restaurant.
- Rooms fill up fast in high season, particularly the high-floor view rooms, so book a few weeks ahead and request a high floor at the same time.

Insider Tips
- Ask for a high floor at booking and again at check-in; that is where the panoramic city view actually pays off.
- Skip the 800-baht Sky Bar drink and watch the roughly 6 pm sunset from your own window with a minibar beer instead.
- Walk one BTS stop to Bantadthong for Bangkok's best street food, fried fish cakes, kuay jub and roast duck, then a 5-minute motorbike taxi back.
