Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, Non Nuoc Beach Villas opened in 2022 on Non Nuoc Beach, south of Da Nang — the newest 5-star Marriott in the Non Nuoc cluster and the first Bonvoy villa resort in Vietnam. There are 122 private villas with 1 to 3 bedrooms, each with a small private pool and a garden terrace. They start at the 1-Bedroom Garden Pool Villa at 180 sqm and run up to the 3-Bedroom Beach Villa at 380 sqm with a 12-metre pool. The look is tropical and Vietnamese contemporary in white, timber brown, emerald and sea blue, with teak furniture and cotton-linen fabrics. Beds are King Sealy hand-tufted, there's a 65-inch Smart TV, a Nespresso machine and TWG tea, and a marble bathroom with a rain shower and a separate bathtub stocked with Le Grand Bain. The heart of the resort is its 3 fine-dining restaurants plus Quan Spa. Man Ho does Cantonese fine dining and a Sunday dim sum trolley brunch (VND 1.5 million, free for kids under 6) — the Marriott signature. Beach House is beachfront seafood BBQ with a DJ every Friday and Saturday, and Greatroom is all-day dining with a breakfast buffet at VND 700,000 and an a la carte dinner. The Pool Bar sits by the public pools, and Quan Spa has 10 treatment rooms working in the traditional Vietnamese style — local herbs, herbal compress and cupping — with a 60-minute body massage at VND 1.6 million. There are 3 public pools on top of the villa pools: a 1,500-sqm Lagoon Pool, a 25-metre Lap Pool and a Kids Splash. The Kids Club is free for ages 4-12 with Vietnamese craft and cooking classes; there's kayaking and paddleboarding, 2 tennis courts and bikes, a 24-hour Technogym with sauna and steam, and a 24-hour butler in every villa. Location and getting there
The resort sits on Non Nuoc Beach south of Da Nang, fronting 400 metres of private sand. Marble Mountain (Ngu Hanh Son) and the marble-carving village are both a 5-minute drive, My Khe Beach is 10 minutes, Dragon Bridge and Han Market are 15 minutes, Hoi An Ancient Town is 25 minutes, and Ba Na Hills is 60 minutes. Da Nang airport (DAD) is 13 km away, a 20-minute drive. Marriott runs a free shuttle into the city 4 times a day (09:00, 11:00, 14:00 and 17:00) with a 22:00 return, plus 2 runs to Hoi An (09:30 and 14:30) — book those a day ahead.
Things to know before booking
First, villa rates run high — $194 for the 1-Bedroom Garden Pool, $357 for a 2-Bedroom and $571 for the 3-Bedroom Beach Villa. It's best value on a 2- or 3-bedroom split between 4-6 people, around $94-$120 each. For two, the Garden Pool Villa at $194 still works, or the sub Beach Front at $214. If you want to be nearer town, Premier Village on My Khe is closer in. Second, Wi-Fi drops in some villas, especially at the far end of the resort — ask for a Garden Pool Villa near the main building when you book, or use the lobby Wi-Fi. Third, Non Nuoc Beach gets rougher from September to November, so the private villa pool is safer for young kids in those months. Fourth, sign up for Bonvoy free before booking — Gold and above gets a welcome amenity, lounge access and 4PM late check-out, and the Sunday dim sum brunch fills fast, so book it 2 days ahead.
