In-Depth Review
Rooms and decor
Rooms here are set up the way a Crowne Plaza usually is — clean, roomy and built around a proper work desk, with fast Wi-Fi that makes getting work done easy. The Dead Sea View rooms look straight out over the water, which is the view to ask for. Overall the feel leans business-friendly rather than resort-relaxed, especially next to somewhere like the Mövenpick or the Kempinski.
Food and amenities
The headline here is the Convention Center, which scales from 50 to over 1,000 people and comes with full catering and AV equipment — the main reason this place is the default for seminars and corporate events on the Dead Sea. Once the meetings wrap, the private beach and the pools are there to unwind by, and the spa runs Dead Sea Mineral treatments.
Location and getting there
You are on the main Dead Sea resort strip, close to the other 5-star hotels, about 58 km from Amman — roughly a 1-hour drive. Madaba and Mount Nebo are around 45 to 50 minutes away, easy day trips. Queen Alia International Airport sits about 70 km out, and the hotel runs a shuttle.
Things to know before booking
The mood is business-first, so if you want a pure holiday the Mövenpick or Kempinski feel more like one. There are fewer pools here than the Kempinski's seven. And like every hotel in this cluster, it is about 58 km from Amman with no easy public transport, so budget for the drive.
Our take
Rooms start from about $214 a night, well under the Kempinski's $357, and for a corporate group that wants meeting space and a Dead Sea beach in one place, that is hard to beat. IHG One Rewards members get the usual earn-and-redeem on top. Come for the conference, stay for the float.
