Beaulieu Boutique Hotel Hue
Beaulieu is a 3-star boutique parked right on Hue's pedestrian street, with staff who speak English, Mandarin, and French — still under-reviewed, but the address does a lot of the work.

In-Depth Review
Rooms and decor
Beaulieu Boutique has about 24 non-smoking rooms. The Deluxe we looked at runs around 22 sqm, done in a modern Asian style with light brown and cream tones, a king bed, a flat-screen TV, and a small balcony that looks straight onto the pedestrian street. The bathroom is clean and comes with a rain shower and a hairdryer. The real signature here is the front desk, which speaks English, Mandarin, and French — uncommon in Hue at this price. Rooms start at roughly $19 a night, making it the best-value central boutique on the list.
Food and amenities
Beaulieu runs two restaurants on site: one does Cantonese Chinese food, the other is Japanese with sushi and ramen — a welcome change if you have had your fill of Vietnamese dishes. There are free bikes to borrow for a ride along the Perfume River, and an airport shuttle on request for an extra fee. Free Wi-Fi covers the whole place, they will hold your bags if you fly out in the evening, and the 24-hour front desk can book you onto the royal tombs tours and the dragon-boat Perfume River sunset cruise.
Location and getting there
The hotel sits on Pham Ngu Lao, dead center in the south-bank tourist quarter. Out the door you are among the restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, and cheap massage spots. It is about 0.5 km to the foot of Truong Tien Bridge; cross over and go another 1.5 km to reach the Imperial Palace and Dong Ba market. Hue railway station is roughly 1.5 km away, and Phu Bai airport is 15 km out. This kind of address is ideal if you would rather not rent a scooter or call a Grab every time you head out.
Things to know before booking
The big asterisk is reviews: Beaulieu still has few on Trip.com, so the guest score is not settled and people are largely going on location and amenities. Because it is right on the pedestrian street, street-facing rooms can be noisy at night when the music and bars get going — ask for a room set back from the front. And it is a small property with basic facilities, so there is no pool or gym.
Our take
Beaulieu Boutique Hotel Hue is for travelers who want to wake up and start walking, eating, and sightseeing right away. It suits backpackers who would rather skip a rental, and Chinese and French visitors who want staff speaking their own language. In the $19 to $37 a night range, you are getting a near-4-star address at a 3-star boutique price — a good call if you weigh location over room design.
