Location and getting there

Walk out the door and it's 10-15 minutes to JB City Square, the city's big mall, and about the same to the CIQ checkpoint. That makes this an easy base if your trip mixes in shopping or a hop across into Singapore. The part that matters on a Legoland page: the park is over in Iskandar Puteri, roughly 25-30 minutes by car. So this isn't the place if you plan to ride the rides every day — but it works well if you're doing one park day and spending another day or two in the city.

Things to know before booking

Rates are good value at the base price but climb over high season and long weekends — book ahead if your dates are locked. Some rooms show uneven upkeep between refreshes, so ask for a recently renovated unit if that matters to you. And to say it plainly: you'll be doing a half-hour drive each way to Legoland, which is fine for a single park day and tiring if you're trying to do two.
