🚆 Getting around Encarnacion
Cross to Posadas, Argentina
The San Roque González bridge links to Posadas. Cross-border buses run every 10-15 minutes, stopping at immigration on both sides.
International train
The Encarnación–Posadas train crosses the river roughly every 30 minutes (around 07:15-18:15) — fast and easy at peak hours.
To Trinidad / Jesús
Local buses from the terminal run along Ruta 6 to the missions in about 40 minutes (around Gs 10,000); the ruins are a short walk from the stop.
