Where to stay in Hunza Valley — pick the right hotel, book in 3 clicks

Hunza is the paradise valley of the Karakoram and, for many, the most beautiful corner of Pakistan. Wake to Rakaposhi (7,788 m) glowing gold at first light, wander the centuries-old Baltit and Altit forts, cruise the turquoise water of Attabad Lake, and — if you come in late March to April — watch apricot and cherry blossom blanket the whole valley. The main town, Karimabad, sits at 2,603 m. Reach it by flying Islamabad to Gilgit then driving in, or by road along the legendary Karakoram Highway.
