Where to stay in Osh — pick the right hotel, book in 3 clicks
Osh is Kyrgyzstan's oldest city — over 3,000 years on the Silk Road, deep in the fertile Fergana Valley. Its heart is Sulaiman-Too, the country's first and only cultural UNESCO World Heritage site: a sacred mountain you can climb in 15 minutes for a panorama over the city. Below it sprawls one of Central Asia's oldest bazaars along the Ak-Buura River, and a Kyrgyz-Uzbek mix that shows up in the food and the faces. Osh is also the gateway to the Pamir Highway and the Uzbek and Tajik borders.
